General Terms


1. The users shall be solely responsible for the accuracy of the Registration Data submitted to Jorbb.comTM.

2. The users shall be solely responsible for maintaining secrecy, confidentiality, and integrity of their account on Jorbb.comTM. If your username and/or password are suspected to have been compromised, you agree to immediately notify Jorbb.comTM. Jorbb.comTM disclaims any liability arising out of use by the third party of your account due to your negligence or collusion.

3. The users agree not to use and access the service, materials and contents on this website for any unlawful purpose, including, but not limited to, soliciting or disseminating material that is sexual in content, child pornography, violence, hatred, profanity, defamatory; or involves introduction of harmful computer contaminants, like any malware, spyware, bots, worms, viruses, Trojan Horses, logic bombs, etc.; or hacking, or committing fraud. An act will be considered unlawful if it violates any law, rule or regulation, for the time being in force, in Singapore. If the users suspect any content on the website to be unlawful, Jorbb.comTM encourages them to use "Report Violation" button so that we may take appropriate and timely action against such misuse of the website.

7. The users agree to post a job with only one job description and one job requirement. Multiple job descriptions and job requirements within one posting are prohibited.

8. The users understand that each job posting should have a job title as its Title. Titles like "Multiple vacancies island-wide" or "Calling all fresh graduates" are not recommended. However, titles similar to "IT Show Promoters" or "Sales Assistant/Sales Executive" are allowed, provided there is only one job description and job requirement in the body. This is made to ensure easy to search for jobseekers.

9. Setting up of seperate accounts, and posting same ads, by leveraging on the 1st Free posting is not allowed. All IPs are logged and we reserve the right to suspend your ad/s and bar your IPs from access to our site.

Jorbb.comTM also disclaims any liability from such content if it violates intellectual property of a third party, or is otherwise illegal. For all such content, the Terms of Use of the respective websites will apply.

Ministry of Manpower Guidelines


All the job postings on this website should adhere to the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) guidelines on non-discrimination. Accordingly:

1. The employers should select candidates based on merit, i.e., qualification, skills, experience, and attributes, which are pertinent to the job.

2. The employers should provide equal opportunity in the selection of candidates regardless of age, race, gender, religion, marital status, criminal record and disability as part of their enlightened employment practices.

3. In the case of a female candidate who is in the family way, employers should also extend the same opportunity to the candidate and consider her job suitability on the basis of her qualification, skills, aptitude and experience.
