This sounds like a great tool, but I’d be afraid of having the same design as a competitor, or any other business, for that matter. Many online printing companies will do the same thing for you basically, from templates, but they have designers on staff that can work with you to alter the templates in ways you may never have thought of yourself. I think this tool would be great for a business just starting up, though.

This looks like a tremendous tool. As long as they follow some basic guidelines, any startup can effectively design their own marketing materials.
For anyone interested, here are some of those basic guidelines:
1. Remember your target customers, and design accordingly.
2. Keep it simple. Don’t overwhelm your customers with too many design features.
3. Offer something. Always remember to offer something tangible in all of your materials.
